The best instruction book for beginners. - This is the book I recommend in my glass bead making classes. There are pictures with each set of instructions so you can see, as well as read, how to do it. It covers all of the techniques necessary to make the most simple to the most complex glass bead imaginable. Definitely a must have book for the new (and not so new) bead maker.
Excellent book for people who have never worked with glass - Cindy Jenkins has done a wonderful job with this book. It teaches you step by step from the very beginning. This book will show you what you need and where you need to get it. It will then show you how to make great beads. Numerous techniques are very well illustrated. I started out with no knoweledge of glass whatsoever, but now with the help of Cindy s book, I can make beautiful glass beads. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get their foot in the door to the world of glass.
A beautiful and thorough reference - Cindy Jenkin s book is truly a work of art as well as a detailed instruction guide. I was drawn to the book by it s exquisite photographs and inspired to try lampwork by the thorough explanations and instructions. I was fortunate to take a beadmaking class with Cindy and her book is a wonderful reference guide! It s so beautiful that I enhance the decor in my home by using it as a coffee-table book.
